Lots of extra work but I agree with you, Lynda's suggestion was great and you did a wonderful job implementing it.

Well, actually, the way Hot Rod (cat) sees it is that the chair is his and he allows me to use it sometimes. Our normal mode of operation is that he gets the back half of the chair and I get the front half. That is how it is right this minute, and he is purring loudly, just so I remember to reach back and pet him occasionally.

It came out just gorgeous! It didn't look that bad to me with your mistake. It is just a different pattern but if that isn't the look you wanted, I can see why it bothered you. I really love it now though also. Great job!

I am really happy for you that you got it fixed to where you like it now. Like everyone else said, it was nice before. Quilting is an art and such an expression of color, design and space. It took real guts to tear apart the first top. This says a lot about your character.

Thanks for sharing this little journey with us. I know the next time I have to fix something I will remember this thread and all you had to go through to get yours just the way you wanted it.
