Default Update on Brown and Teal Quilt....

Remember this quilt? I changed the border to a solid brown and it seemed to have made a difference. The back is pieced with the left over fabric, and I made two pillow cases in brown, with a teal print cuff. My friend is quite happy with the result. Thanks for all your candid comments and suggestions, and for looking.

Changing the borders makes it look like a different quilt. Both versions are very pretty!!

I love your quilt. Did you use a pattern or one you made up. I see that it is large hst, Are the sashes straight side pieces with small cornerstone hst?. I love love love the way you mixed different browns and teals.....love the back and love the brown border......great great great quilt. My son would love one like that.
