This is an update on a thread I started on Sunday. I am 1/2 way done painting my sewing room. My new Avante is coming next week so I don't want to kill myself getting this room done. Take my time and do it right. So I get a call this morning from UPS Freight asking for directions to my house. My machine is here. Now please tell me how can I consentrate on finishing this room when I have a kitchen full of boxes? My DH and I made an agreement 28 yrs ago - I don't do yardwork and he doesn't paint. He's a sweetie, he said tomorrow night he will help me finish painting and move stuff into place. He's a keeper. I still won't do yardwork.

I'll take yard work any day over painting! I'm so excited for you! I would have to rip those boxes open!

I am very excited for you! I would have to open the boxes and take a look. I couldn't stand to wait! I don't do yard work either, due to asthma and allergies. As for paint, I am such a bad painter that DH won't let me. After a minute or two, I am ready to just throw the paint on the wall! LOL!!

I love doing gardening, DH doesn't. He did the dishes and the laundry and housework while I did yard work. Now that he is retired he is beginning to learn gardening. We do a lot of the housework together. He loves to cook by the way. However, if we ever paint a room together again I might commit murder.
Congratulations on your new machine.
