I made a quilt for my BF as a birthday present. He loves flowers and he saw the fabric a few weeks ago and liked it a lot. So I thought I use it for a birthday quilt. It's a charm pack from Moda called Fresh Flowers. The FMQ is done on my domestic sewing machine. For the border I used a template.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my quilt. Even at my age (59) I'm so insecure and never convinced I did a good job. You make me feel good about what I did and wanting to go on quilting :D Thanks again :D :D

I was afraid of FMQ too but took a class last year and that helped a lot. I just take a scrap of fabric, practice the pattern I want to use and go for it. The hardest part is getting all stitches even and I'm not good at that yet but it's getting better. It takes a lot of practice!
