This is the wall hanging I've been working on for the past three weeks. Can anyone advise me on whether I should free motion quilt around the leaves or leave it alone? I am using my Janome MC6600 machine. The center beige strip is free motioned and the left and right beige strips are stitched the same. Wasn't sure what to do with quilting it so I decided to play with the stitches. What do you think?

I think it's beautiful. I don't think you need to quilt around the leave. As long as it's a wall hanging it shouldn't need to be quilted.

It looks like there is plenty of beautiful quilting already.
Whether you do the stitching around the leaves is up to what you wish to do....It is a lovely quilt!

I would. It would help to make the leaves and vines stand out. Also, it appears that you've FMQ fairly closely using specialty stitches. You want the quilting to be close to the same amount throughout the quilt. (It's less likely to pucker and become wavy along the edges.) A leaf stipple would echo the leaf motif. Very pretty quilt. You did a great job of piecing.

That is so pretty and I think you have to decide for yourself about the quilting. I think it would be fine either way.
