These represent the latest pictures of my sewing room. The main change is the computer area, but there are a few new wrinkles here and there. Most of the things you might have seen at one time or another but this is the most recent rendition. But I am constantly tweaking this place, as I come up with new ideas.

Nice sewing space. I really like the covers for your sewing machines. They are cute. I keep dreaming of having a nice big room to sew in. I sew in an extra bedroom, and all through the house. I have an understanding DH so it works for me. Then I have more money for fabric and supplies, and retreats.

Wow, John! What a great space-I'm jealous!! I noticed your great quilted wastebasket cover!! Did you make it with a pattern, or by yourself?? I would love to make one, but feel more confident with a pattern! I made a machine cover, without a pattern, but it took me AGES!

Great room. Are you in the attic on the third floor?

Aha! I new you would have to be messy in some area - look at the fabric! Not nearlly as organized as your thread cabinet pictures! I'm messing with you, really a great room.
All of the furniture you have made is terrific. Nice job.

Nice sewing room, looks like you have a really great place to create a lot of pretty quilts.

Actually it is a waste basket all by itself. I used some really stiff interfacing to give it rigidity, and then just sewed it very carefully while quilting it. and attaching the bottom. The only thing you can't do is put anything wet inside of it, as it would likely stain it. Thread does tend to stick to the insides but I don't care, because I can use the vacuum cleaner to suck them out.

What a great sewing room John. I'm working on mine (again! :)). Always changing things around. I also have a scrapbooking area in the room and it's hard to fit both in there, but I'm trying.

No, I am in a room on the second floor. It has a peaked roof. The only advantage/disadvantage is it is right over the kitchen and my wife is a knockout good cook and the smells sometimes drive me downstairs for the purpose of quality control of whatever she is doing. It is almost impossible to practice "Girth Control".
