This is a pattern from Moda Bake Shop using a honeybun. The fabric line is Oh Cherry Oh. I started it because I didn't want to start another big quilt right now. I thought it looked simple enough. NOT!!!! I think I made every mistake it is possible to make with this darned quilt! It fought me every inch of the way. It also has more machine quilting on it than any quilt I've ever done--notice I did NOT include a picture of the back! I don't think it's good enough to give away, but I can use it at home. I'm just so happy that I'm finally finished with it!

You must have cleaned up those mistakes you made, because I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

I think it looks nice!

But we all have those quilts that give us problems or don't turn out like we expected them to. Sometimes it's the frame of mind. I had a couple I thought would be awesome. When I got done, I thought they were rather blah. I put them away for awhile, and just recently took them back out. They aren't as bad as I remembered them, and I will be quilting them as soon as I can decide what pattern to quilt them. We also learn the hard way what we don't like to do...for me, that's little pieces. I am impatient and prefer a larger pattern so I can see results more quickly.

As for the back...using a busy print hids a multitude of mistakes! :)

Very pretty. The colors are bright and cheery and your quilting looks great. I agree--I don't see any mistakes. Thanks for sharing.

You may not like it because of the frustration of making it, but I like it. Really like the bright colors.
