So I made this based off the winsome baby quilt but i made it too big to fit my machine's throat.....he was born today through a c-section and i need to get this finished! Any ideas on how to complete the quilting part of this?

That's awesome! I love the colours and the layout, very cool!

No idea on the quilting part... what about tying it?

I agree with big blue foot there.
If you can't get it to fit on your machine, you could tie it at all the corners of the squares. I think that would look cute.

LOL

I should add, we don't tie quilts here so I have not a clue about how one would proceed! ;-)

I thought that but i was afraid if i tied it it wouldn't hold up to a baby....hand quilting may take awhile. nuts.

How much does it not fit in your machine? Some of the new battings can be quilted quite far apart, you might be able to get away with a wide design.

What a fun quilt! Sorry, no suggestions on how to finish it. I'm sure you'll come up with something brilliant!
