First I started making crisscross coasters, then I moved onto binding a purple and green square in a square 2 that is a wedding gift (now on it's way to CA), then I finished my scrappy corduroy quilt. I love that one! It was a lot of fun taking my old skirts and pants, and throwing in some garage sale finds (cheap) until I had enough variety to make this. I even used scraps on the back and I lined it with a flannel sheet from the thrift store. Not only was it inexpensive, but it's warm and I just love how it turned out. Oh yeah- and add in some embroidery squares I'm making with my mom- I have just had the best 3 days! I don't even mind that we got 10 inches of snow and it was -8 degrees this morning. It looked beautiful from behind my sewing machine.

I know I probably should know but I don't. How did you make that first quilt? What block is that? I really, really love it and your colors too. Any info would be appreciated.
Best wishes,

Good job. So, can I blame the beautiful weather here for my lack of productivity? LOL
