    I made this quilt back in 2003. Saw it on Simply Quilts. It is made with eight inch doilies for the hearts.

    That's so pretty...I love it!! Did you use heart-shaped doilies, or cut larger ones to look like hearts?

    i remember this quilt and have always wanted to do one. back when i first saw it i could never find the doilies. thank you for reminding me about it. another one for my wish list.

    I've used larger doilies with scalloped edges glue down on a piece of fabric which you cut into four pieces. I've tried to find a link for it on Hgtv without luck.

    Searched & found the pattern is in the book: Doily Magic Sweet & Simple by Sharon Rexford Ericson. Amazon.com has new & used copies for sale.

    Beautiful! The pineapple design on the doily was my Grandmother's favorite.
