My DH builds longbows and makes arrows for people to take with their bow. He's trying out something new and needed to put a very sticky wrap on the end of the arrow shaft. It took me seconds to see the advantage to lining everything up with the cutting mat grid. Guess I can let him borrow it every now and then.

I'm with you. I borrow enough tools from my husbands workshop for my quilting that I don't mind loaning him things from my quilting room if they work for him.

I wish my husband had a hobby. I would gladly let him use my cutting board. I think he would get so bored just sitting watching TV.

my husband and kids kept using my cutting mat for rocketry and archery(making arrows). Then someone took a chunk out of it with some kind of razor and I just gave it to them and bought myself a new one. Now they have theirs and better not touch mine.
