Lovely. I admire the way you have picked plain colours that can be found in your central square fabric. Look forward to seeing the finished quilt please?

Oh Fay! I can't tell you how pleased I am to see you continued on with this gorgeous quilt. I recall your post a while back that you just weren't feeling the "love" for it anymore and had concerns about the colors. Well I think it turned out drop dead gorgeous. I hope you are loving it again as well. Now that the top is done it can sit for a while before quilting. I have let tops age as long as some fine wines before finishing them!

I'm impressed, and I see that you incorporated the pieced border design into the variegated color scheme. This really adds an element that I want to call "motion." The variant colors seem to resemble the sunlight and shadows that occur when the ocean or a lake is being roughed up by windy weather. VERY very nice work!!

All I can say is WOW!!!! That is one pretty quilt top. You did a great job. All your efforts have produced a beautiful end result.
