    I have a ton of scraps too, how many do you think you used>? and what size was the quilt when it was finished?

    Thank you everyone for your kind words. It has prompted me to start another stash-busting project. We'll see what happens with that one. Now, to answer some questions some of you have had...the quilt is 72x84. It is based on the Chinese Coins pattern, but I used sashing strips to break up the columns. I have made a scrappy backing out of remnants of anti-pill fleece and will be using Thinsulate batting. I get to finish it up today. I just woke up, and can see the weather is too tricky to try and drive to work. Luckily, I can work from home for a while, then on to the fun stuff. Now, I'll just have to remember to check my mother's suitcase as she's leaving (she has a reputation around here, you know!!) LOL. Have a good day everyone, and I hope you stay warm and dry.
