I love the way you quilted it, to make the blocks look rounded. It is very beautiful.

Hi Grace, Thanks for the compliment. I posted that video link along with the video link from Missouri Quilt Co.
Here is the posting:" You Know, I am not totally sure. I used the video from the Missouri Quilt Co, http://tutorials.missouriquiltco.com/ ,but you can go here, watch this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVd9C...eature=related , looks like you could get the same results. I'm sure there are several ways to get the same results.
In the version I used, you do make a tube, like the video from the Missouri Quilt Co.
Hope that I have explained so you can understand, with the videos help. "

I did use the video from the Missouri Quilt Co. to do my quilt blocks. I just used two different tubes and alternated them.
I have never used the instructions from the video from Eleanor Burns, but it does look about the same, even though I don't know for sure.
I know that I can be very confusing, and I am truly sorry about that.
Hope this helps explain.

And by the way, I did talk to my son yesterday and I did tell him what all my friends have said here on the Quilting Board, which I have cried about. He did send back to all of you,

"OH! THAT IS ALL SO VERY NICE OF THEM TO SEND THAT TO US HERE. YOU TELL THEM THEY ARE ALL MOST WELCOME, ITS OUR HONOR AND DUTY TO BE HERE SERVING OUR COUNTRY"

I thank you all for your expressed gratitude. Swells my heart.

Mah, a tube quilt like Cathy's is with 2 color strips sewed together and a solid fabric cut the same size as the two strips and you sew the solid fabric to the strip fabric ((right side together)) on both sides to make a tube. you start cutting using a 45 angle, then turn the ruler around and cut another 45, until you cut your tube. go to the Missouri quilt co link that is in Cathy's post. hope this helps you
