This was a great start for me. Straight line sewing, fun fabric. I have a few family members "claiming" this. Meant for 6 month old grandbaby boy. Have ordered more tops and back quilt. The striped fabric was enough for a few .. hope you all like it !

Saw the fabric in a this month quilt magazine. picked up fabric from the Eric Carl museum. I don't drive. Wonderful to get it in the mail !

each square I sewed about 1/4 inch from outline

What a fun quilt. Makes a person smile when they look at it. Reminds me of when I would read to my children. :) :)

That is too darling! Can't you just see that sweet grandbaby boy retelling the story to himself over and over using the pictures on his quilt? Precious.

Having taught little kids in the past, I can speak from experience that "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" is always a hit and I think it's in large
part because of the wonderful illustrations of Eric Carle!

Your quilt came out great!
I just love it!

Adorable!! :-) I love Eric Carle books; they are so much fun to read to the little ones.
