    The top is actually made of 4 fabrics.. one is the outer border, one is the iris colored border.. the pinwheels are made of a tone on tone and a co-ordinating fabric of the the outer border that is actually a stripe.. I just cut the squares that I turned into HST's then into pinwheels so that there was no waste and they all came out pretty much alike.. here are a couple of pics.
