This is a free downloadable pattern called Buttercup Bag. I lengthened the strap- I made this bag out of 2 fat quarters, but to get the strap long enough I had to piece it. So, I did it like crazy quilting, putting the pieces all together at weird angles and then doing different decorative stitches on it. I attached a matching yoyo over the magnetic closure. The wallet is a pattern I bought at my LQS for $3. It's called Little Wallet by Valori Wells. It is very simple and have since made several. I made this set for a personal bridal shower gift. She loved it! Even took a picture of it and sent it to her fiance! That made me feel great!

That's my kind of bag - please share the link.
I also added the wallet to my 'shopping list'.

I made three of these bags and discovered that the light or medium weight interfacing works really good. Helps the bag to hold it's shape when you set it down. I also stitched the strap into the seam of the top bands and used a decorative stitch to secure it from the outside; and velcro for the closure instead of a snap.

I love my butercup bag.
