I have one set done that is waiting to be quilted and bound. Pic #1

I have another that needs a border. Thinking to put a yellow or blue tiny strip then a blue print border on. What ever I find this weekend. Pic #2

And I found another set. I have always loved this block but not sure what it is. I am however facinated with the secondary designs that come up when these blocks are put together. I won't butt these up against each other since they are all hand sewn with thick thread and not matching too well but its a thought for a quilt in the future.
There are 42 of these blocks. 2 sets of 7 that match
4 sets of 3 each that match
    4 sets of 2 and 8 singles.
I know I am going to put sashings inbetween and think I am going with the muslin and blue like in the center of the block or maybe muslin and red. Just to change it up a bit.
Since I am putting muslin and a color I have a lot of blocks and this will get pretty big.
what do you think about splitting up the blocks and making more than one quilt or should I keep them all together?

Ok I am having problems sending. I will try to get the pictures on another way.
It is not letting me load the pictures. Darn.

These are just great!! Don't you love old quilts? They just seem to tell such wonderful stories.

Maybe set the the four squares (two of each) as center of quilt the work out from there - very nice blocks - Love what you did with the others!!! Where on earth did you find these or did you make them

I love the older traditional blocks. You made my day with this eye candy.
