I had made some of these the other day for single loafs using pants legs, but we buy 4 loaves of bread at a time from the outlet so that wasn't gonna work for us.

I made this version using a vintage pillowcase and 4 soda cases and we used it today. The strap is the top hem of a vintage sheet.

My 4 year old carried the bread to the car from the store and into the house today and it's still UNCRUSHED! YAY!

ETA- the cashier at the bread store loved the bag!

I love all your recycle ideas. I try to reuse what ever I can but you've come up with some really good ones. You should keep a notebook on these and do a recycle book

I TOTALLY want to write a book someday. It's the actual sitting down and writing it that stops me. LOL!
