From the best I can tell it was all hand sewn and I know the lady who donated it and she is trying to find out who made it and when.

Any ideas as to the year it was made?

Billy, Those are beautiful. Any idea how old? What, if you don't mind my asking, did you pay?

Billy, I would guess 40's based on the fabrics....

You're probably going to cringe when I tell you but.......

I have the newest HE Kenmore front loaders from sears that have the 5 way motion washing, you know the ones in their commercials. Well I ran it through with the steam and the 2nd rinse with regular Sams brand laundry detergent and dried it on the normal setting. Both pieces had stains on them so I hit them with the Shout Advanced Gel and sprayed the entire quilt with shout before washing.

Shout is amazing and totally underrated. Once my (now ex) husband got motor oil all soaked into his white t-shirt his daughter had gotten him for fathers day.. I soaked it in shout and washed it in Arm & Hammer detergent (twice) and got ALL of the grease out.. no stain left at all.
