At my BF's parents home this past weekend, this was the bedspread in the guestroom! This was made by my BF's grandmother and it even had prarie points!! (which I would never had known what they were called till being addicted to this board) The squares are all different types of fabric and perfectly matched. Each squared is hand tied on EACH corner... it is simply lovely!! I thought I should share.

Just added the pic... not very good, but you can kind of see them? I was talking with my BF's mom, and she remember the quilt being on the frame and helping tie them... very neat memories!

Wonderful! What a sweet quilt, and what a great memory to pass down.

My BF's mother said that all the quilts she and her family made were tied. No one ever did the hand or machine quilting. I thought that was interesting.
