Default wall hanging - AFrican Joy?

A dear friend organized an event for our church ladies. She has had more than her share of tragedy and after about 5 years of just managing to put one foot in front of the other she seems to be coming out on the other side. For this luncheon she took us on an African Safari with the theme of "choosing joy". It's a bit complicated - she reminded us of the hard times during drought when we wait for rain - and talked about her finding joy in little things - like butterflies ... anyway... this is for her. I know she'll be thrilled and it was pure fun just to "wing it" and create something that just says what I want it to say.
Well - pooey - stand on your head to look at it!

Very caring of you to interpret her faith journey into such a personal quilt. She'll love it.

That's something I need to keep telling myself. I'm so happy for your friend. And your last line exhibits just the attitude to take!

Yes, I stood on my head and looked at it and it is beautiful and clever. Your friend will love it,she knows what life is all about the simple things. It took me a long tome to realize that but now I do, Your gift represents the small things and she will love it.
