    rootyr,

I don't have any free motion experience so it would turn this into a disaster. Others have suggested quilting the area, but I think I'll leave it alone as I think I'll turn it into a bigger mess because I'm just not experienced enough. I don't want to chance it. It may end up in the trash then. I definitely don't want that to happen as I like the rest of the quilt. hehe I just hate the loose snowballs. When I look at it my eyes get drawn right to those snowballs...errrr. Oh well, live and learn.

Anything that is not quilted puffs. Put a couple of lines or an X in those white snowballs and the puff will disappear

Great idea but like Kathy I would be scared to mess it up.
Kathy I think it turned out very nice. My analness to be matchy & perfect keeps me from even trying new stuff, I feel your pain...but really you did a very nice job.

If the white is broadcloth it doesn't shrink.. the others.. if they are cotton, will shrink.. that's probably what caused
the ripples.. broadcloth is a cotton/poly blend. That being said... I love it!

Thanks Tippy, I didn't wash it after it was made if that's what you meant by the others shrinking. I pre-washed everything first, but I may have misunderstood you. Never again will I use broadcloth. I made my grandson some applique quilting sqauare and can you believe I used a sheet and use it for making the blocks?????? I was cluless on that one too. Never finished it either.
