    I appreciate everyone's input when I needed advice with the top quilting! I heeded your words of wisdom and did a diamond grid in the center, but I did a stitch in the ditch for the center 'cross'. I also include an embroidery stitch along the inside edge of the outside border and then I did a channel stitch for the top quilting of the border.
    I think it turned out just fine!

    Thanks! And yes, I'm a big fan of the Log Cabin...it's such a healing block and so versatile!
