Red face Up date on Kelly"s Wedding quilt

Well I survived the 5 day party. I do think I'm getting a little old for that kind of celebration. But I was glad to pitch in and help my sister and meet a lot of their friends. We do live so far apart.
The Wedding was lovely with the mountains of BC as a backdrop. Any of you ladies from the area; they held it at the EcoRanch campgrounds outside of Golden. Hang gliders kept dropping in all afternoon, and half the guests stayed there overnight.
We waited until the day after the wedding to give the bride her gift. We were all relaxing and recovering from the day/evening event. Kids sure party hard. I was one of the first to head home.
But the next day back at my sisters, over a long leisurely brunch the kids showed up and I was able to watch their reaction. I do wish I'd had a movie camera. This first picture is the happy couple with her widowed father.
PS. I was asked to start prepping for a baby. Gladly.

What a lovely couple! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I've been watching the progress on this quilt, I think it turned out amazing.

Such a beautiful place for a wedding! Congrats to them!
The quilt is fabulous! I think you had a great plan to wait for the giving of it so you could see their reactions...they look pretty happy with it.

AND, what a special thing to look forward to...grandbabies! They are SO much fun!

It is beautiful, they are pleased with it. Love to see the expression on people faces when they received a nice hand make gift.
