    This is a pic of the quilt thatI requested help with picking a suitable batting for warmth. I used a nice quality flannel on the back and a cotton batting. The quilt is for my grandson who likes Star Wars. it is warm. Thank for the tips, it would have been a less than warm quilt otherwise!

    Warm and so sweet. How can he not LOVE it! My son (7) loves Star Wars too! I bet he would love that quilt.

    Thank you. I took the easy way out setting alternate solid squares instead of pieced ones but hoped to finish it before winter ended. At my age, I'm starting to look for less challenges!
