Default Warm Wishes WIP

Say that three times fast I was thinking of sea/beach theme in squares (recipient lives in Hawaii), but how do I quilt the rail fence blocks? Any/all suggestions welcome.

I think the meander that looks like water would be awesome on this quilt. It is one of my favourite patterns for FMQ because it is easy but looks great. Great Warm Wishes by the way and perfect for Hawaii.

Love it! Warm Wishes is so fast and easy.

The easiest quilting that comes to mind, is a simple 'X' through the blocks. You could do it in only the 'rails' or focal fabric or though them all.

I was going to say "waves" which is probably the same thing as "meaner that looks like water."

Anyone got a picture of this water meander? Not really sure what it looks like.

This is just a quick sketch with my sharpie to give you the idea of my water meander. It kind of looks the same as wood grain meander. There are probably better examples on YouTube?
