    I agree with Tartan as far as the quilting, this pattern is one of my favorites.

    I just finished quilting my Warm Wishes quilt on my "short arm" machine yesterday. I did a grid which made an X in the rail fence blocks and then did a 'design' in the squares. It turned out REALLY well and I love it!!

    I just pulled this pattern from my pile of "I'd like to do this some day" patterns. What a treat to see it in lovely brilliant fabrics. It has moved up the list and I hope to give it a go in the next few weeks.

    Lovely work. My pattern includes the "x" suggestion for quilting but I like the other choices already mentioned too.

    I am a hand quilter most of the time. I cross hatched the blocks and did a quarter inch at every seam. This is one of my favorite patterns!

    When I make the Warm Wishes quilt, I straight stitch thru the the "stripe" squares making X's.
