Default Waste not, want not. Love those scrap quilts.

My last 2 quilts that I made with scraps from other quilts. I'm working on scrap quilt no. 3 in a series. And loving getting rid of bits and pieces of fabric.

Very nice scrappys! I really like your pieced borders -- they add so much to your quilts.

Great scrap quilt and top! Your string top with the positive/negative rectangles is one of the best use of string piecing I've seen.

I'm absolutely fascinated by your second quilt. Is this your own pattern? I would like to try it, but I'm not sure I quite understand the piecing. Can you explain how to do it?
