Default 'Water Garden' Wall Hanging

Not long after I first found QB about 2 years ago and started looking though the threads and pictures of all the wonderful, creative projects members have made, I knew I wanted to try to make a wall hanging for my computer room. I didn't know much about quilting but found some fat quarters that I really liked, and thanks to some mentions here about using an iron-on product to make appliqué easier, I got some of that and some 80/20 batting, dove in and got to work.

I'm not a very good hand sewer but quilted around everything because I didn't know how durable the fusible stuff was when the piece was laundered (and I really wanted a 'quilted' end result), almost no fraying and the stitches didn't come out so that's alright. lol It measures about 22" H x 25" W, thanks for looking (and giving me the inspiration to make it).

It is so pretty! You have a good eye for complimentary color and overall design.
