    I have been working on this hand applique hawaiian type quilt. Green leaves are 1 pieces, hand appliqued in a reverse applique method. Waterlilies are then appliqued on, I decided to stuff the top petal of the flower, which was not indicated in the pattern.

    I have 2 more petal to applique, then ready to sandwich and I will hand quilt water effects in the background.

    Don't you just love Hawaiian needle turn? I have several patterns, almost finished hand echo quilting one with another one needleturned, still a ufo. You have inspired me to applique' flowers on it! Your work is beautiful.

    Gorgeous! My Hawaiian quiltingbis still very novice, I'm not great at needle turn. Better at freezer paper and other methods. I really admire your work. Excellent colors!
