    Default Watermelon quilt

This is a quilt I made for my sister a few months ago, and am just now getting around to posting it. I called it the watermelon quilt because almost all of the fabrics are watermelon prints.

    The pattern is called "shoo-fly."

I realized after posting the pics that I messed up- the first quilt is one I made a couple of years ago, for my niece- (one of my all-time favorite quilts, actually). And the watermelon quilt is the last pic. BIG OOPS! Sorry!

2 fine quilts. Watermelon is a good name for that one. I am sure your sister and niece like them a lot too.

Both are great quilts, enjoy seeing older patterns like the shoo fly still being used.

Love both of them. Shoo fly is always such a nice pattern and your colors are wonderful.

I like how you framed the shoo-flies. The colors and ginghams give it an old timey feel, too. Nice quilts.
