I made a gift for a friend who will be going on an ocean cruise after Christmas. So I used a twin needlle to embellish this black fabric with some waves.

I love this little pattern to make quick gifts. I've made several others this year.... more info here.

Nice purse. Love the waves. Also, could you show a close-up of your avatar. It is beautiful. Is it your own pattern?

My avitar is called the Nines and Vines. I just happen to be in the middle of making another one to be used as a Raffle Quilt, for a local fundraiser a the hospital. I plan to have it done for the end of the month. Anyway, here is a link on my blog to a larger picture, and also you will find the the link to the free pattern for the queen size quilt.
