Good idea to take it out to the driveway. I would have never thought to do that. Lucky it was in the shade.
The quilt is just beautiful and I am sure they will love it.

Maybe your wedding quilt isn't so late after all. In my part of rural Southern Ontario, wedding quilts are often presented as a first Anniversary gift. I had the guests sign quilt squares at my son's wedding and then used them in their wedding quilt which they got a year later.

Your quilt is beautiful.

I love the saturated colours of Kaffe Fasset.

My son's highschool grad quilt is now 2 years late and my dd just graduated. I need to hustle up.

That's beautiful, Shelbie. Love the radiating hearts.

I have been quilting this thing all day and I'm pooped. Sew 6" and then wrestle the whole thing around a different way, over and over... quilting with a walking foot on my Juki. I have only the borders to quilt now and then I'll take a new picture and post it. Thanks for the nice compliments, everyone.
