LOL...she is so tiny! She wore a pair of high heels but pulled them off because they were hurting her feet. I didn't notice when I took the picture that she was standing on her tippy-toes. I guess she was trying to not look so short. Kyle is around 6' 1" - 6' 2" and he normally tries to not look so tall when they have their pictures taken together.

The quilt is fantastic and they will love eachother under it for many years to come. Don't you just wish you could be as in love as they are in this photo? I do.

Absolutely beautiful. I'm just amazed at the number of 1½" blocks required. I noted on another thread that I've just begun to collect 1½" blocks to make a postage stamp quilt and seem to be seeing this size blocks a lot! Serendipity. Your DS and soon-to-be DDIL will definitely treasure such a beautiful heirloom.
