That sounds like the perfect set-up Patrice. Right now my computer is in my bedroom (on the 2-floor) and my quilt room is in the basement. Trying to work between the two can be frustrating and very bad for the knees. Worse, when we had our little -34F weather, the pipe to my quilt room bathroom froze and I couldn't use the toilet. When we move and/or buy a house, I want one that is only one level and I want my computer with my quilt stuff!

the solution is obvious, tiffany. stop feeding your family so you can buy yourself a whole new computer setup for your sewing room.

Thats exactly what I did Patrice. Bought a laptop for me, so I can use it anywhere and no one else(which is only my hubby)!!! It was the perfect thing to do, but I actually needed my own computer for my business too.

You stopped feeding your family?

LOL! I think a laptop would be the perfect solution. The problem is that I can't keep myself from buying fabric long enough to save up the money to buy one.
