I haven't put on the borders but here are two different tops that I did this weekend. These pix were taken with the cell phone camera so they aren't the greatest.

Very nice! My you have been busy. both are nice, but the first one is my favorite.

I actually did the second one first. It's all cut from a layer cake (10" squares). After I did it I remembered I had some 10" squares of batiks left over that I wasn't doing anything with. So all I had to buy was the background fabric (plain purple batik). The top pix, with the batiks, took me 5.5 hours to do and that was because I put it together and then ripped it out because I wanted to change the color combination...THEN I put it back again. Go figure.

They are both gorgeous. Is there a pattern for them. What elegence for something so quick.

The pattern came out of the "Layer Cake Recipe Book: Fast and Easy Quilts for 10" Squares." The pattern name is Sparklers II and is a Georgette Dell'Orco Design.
