Default Went to an Antique store and I found this...

On our way to Wal Mart in Redmond, Or. We stopped at an Antique Mall, and I spied this lovely beauty.

Her edges are frayed, colors look a little faded. But, she whispered.....Hey, take me home.

I am going to fix the edges and add some new binding.

What a beauty. Please post your 'after' pics when you get her all reone. She will have a second life. Don't you wish that pieces like this could talk!

That will be lovely once you rejuvenate it! Lots of nice rescue work happening recently.

This looks like it will mend easily. AND another perfect example of why we should put labels on the back ... at least we would know when/where and who made it had a label been on this sweet quilt.

Be sure to add a label with your new story on it!

Beautiful colors and it will be fantastic after you get the binding on.

What a great find. I wonder how old this quilt is?

She will be a beauty. I've had several old quilts beg to come home with me, so they did. Now it is antique sewing machines that are calling my name.

She has to be at least in her late teens maybe early 20's. It's machine sewn and hand quilted. Beautiful hand quilting I should say.
