Default What to do with a panel...maybe new to you, maybe not...

Many of you may have already done this, but maybe some have not...use a panel in an attic window design.

I think this looks wonderful. What do you think?

The windows are 5 inch squares, the frames are 2 1/2 inches, the sashing in 2 inches , first border is 2 1/2 inches and the outside border is 3 1/2 inches (all measurement are cutting measurement).
It measures 40 1/2 x 43 finished.

You did a great job on that piece. The woodgrain makes it look so real.

I like it. A friend of mine did this also with a large panel. It worked for her too.

I agree -- that woodgrain really kicks it up a notch! Plus I like that you used different beige fabrics on the side of the window. This is just one beautiful quilt, any way you cut it! I love it! Great job!

I have a panel in my stack of things to do. You have inspired me to put it closer to the top.
