First of all, welcome aboard a very fun board! As for your quilt, I have next to no imagination... it looks like "nature" to me. But I LOVE IT! It could also look like stained glass. But, whatever it's "supposed" to be, it's fabulous!

I see Bamboo
Lovely quilt! Even if my vision is different - but that is what makes art so wonderful.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Plants, sprouts, nature, yes! Reeds, sugarcane fields, yes!
Bamboo. Bingo!
I have in mind a bamboo forest. All different shades of green. The horizontal represents the glimpse of sky and earth through tha gaps of the bamboo. The bottom is a mulch of pebbles and fallen leaves.
Thanks so much everyone for your encouraging words!!!
After working for so long in isolation, it feels so good to be among like-minded people![]()
Hm, first thing that comes to my mind is the Everglades, or a rain forest. Maybe even books (horticulture, of course :-)
best,

I see the forest from the trees... I really like what you did.
Welcome! Glad to have you? Hmmm what do I see, something that would look great in my home? LOL I see small trees (I call them treelings). Or a bookshelf with books bound in greens and browns. I love it no matter what it is.
Welcome from Ohio! Your quilt is beautiful! Very organic!
Kelly
It reminds me of bamboo. Whatever you had in mind, it is a beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing.
The bad news is - time flies.
The good news is - you're the pilot!
Hmmm. I see quilts on clotheslines made with pulleys, in a jungle of bamboo.
I think of bolts of fabric on a shelf! It's gorgeous! I love it! Now my curiousity is up though, what was the image in your mind?
