Very pretty.

I used a different illusion quilt pattern, it uses just two fabrics. I worked very well for me since I buy large pieces of fabrics. Usually 4 - 6 yds, of each. My scrappy quilts have come from leftover pieces of other quilts. I seldom buy small amounts.

I was also thinking of using charms-not cut in half, and with the same size strips. May try enough for a tablerunnr just to see if that works.

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna finnish this one as started as I have it all cut out. I just thought the red would pop the 30's prints.

The red strips are too distracting, and there is no illusion.
Just what I was thinking but did no know how to explain it. Good explanation.

Good for you! I think that it is going to look awesome when you get it finished! It'll be one of a kind and will have your signature on it! Again, good for you!
