Default What do you think?? Illusion Quilt

This is the illusion quilt by MSQ company, she used gray, I wanted to use red??

I am anxious to try this one. I was thinking about using charms instead. Yours is going to be beautiful! Love the red!!

Thanks ladies, you don't know how many times I have pulled out?? I do like the red and with the 30's, I have lots of
30's scraps I'm gonna try and get the 5" by 10" piece of fabric from them. I cut my red 1 1/2" pieces and I cut the 8" instead of 9". I haven't done much sewing since my knee surgery, but I'm really trying to get back into the swing.

The red makes this a really bold quilt. How will you frame this quilt? I look forward to seeing the finished project.

This quilt you only have to add one side and I think the top, as it's all bordered as you go along. Thank you.

Hmm, I'm odd man out I guess. I LOVE the red, but since it's the illusion of the blocks floating on the background, I would have used pink instead of white.
