I want to make my DMIL a quilt using charms. I've already purchased most of the charms I think I'll need. I have made one quilt from charms (pictured below) and I just sewed the charms together. I'm wondering what others may have done using only charms (except for sashing and borders). Please post a picture of yours to give me some ideas! Thanks!

I don't use charms, but you could do a D9P or D4P with them. Or pinwheels would be good, too.

I love your charm quilt top - it makes me feel warm and happy.

Thanks!

D4P might be fun. I haven't tried one yet :-)

I have never used prepackaged charms. However I have used my own 5" Squares to make a twister wall hanging. That was fun. I want to try and make a quilt. (I used a tut on this board to make up my own twister template.)

Love your quilt, I have a couple of charm packs too, haven't decided what to do with them yet, Probably will incoporate blocks into baby quilts and use for doll quilts.

I made a twister one day last week from a couple of 5" charm packs. Came out great, was fun and easy.

I am making a D4P with scrappy charms. I had a lot of 4.5 and 5" squares so decided I'll make disappearing blocks and twister with them. I have about 20 of the disappearing 4 patches made. Since I only sew on weekends, it'll be a while.
