What a wonderful thing to do for his sons!! I like that u left the pockets on! They will love them! Are u gonna border it with a piece in their Fav color?
i was tring to figer out how to use the cuffs, button strips and colars that i saved to do the border but i just cant see how to.

What a wonderful memory and part of their Dad you are giving to the sons.

I Love ALL kinds of CrAfTs
It is looking great and will be like getting a hug from Dad when they wrap up in their quilts. Can you use the button/button hole plackets as binding? If you cut them off the shirt with about 1/4 inch of the fabric still attached, you could sew the remaining 1/4 to the front or back of the quilt (depending on how you like to bind) and flip the placket over the edge to have a nice finished placket edge to hand stitch down. The cuffs you could use on the back to write your label on and hand stitch it on when the quilt is finished.
i love the pockets look![]()
