My horse Misti will be 3 next month. I had her trained last year and got her back the day b4 thanksgiving. Then all hell broke loose with the weather and she did not get ridden til this month. I personally haven't ridden in years so I am just plain scared to get on her(:
My brother came out Sunday and rode her for about an hour and asked if I would like to ride her and since she seemed pretty calm, I said yes. It was awesome!!!!

Yay! Good for you & good for Misti! Nothing better than some "horse therapy" :D

What a beautiful horse!! :D

Have you been watching the marestare live cams? Pacific Pintos in California has two more mares that are close to giving birth. The breed miniature horses. They have two colts that were born in the last few days -- one on Friday, May 6 and the other one yesterday, May 9. They have a couple of other ones that were born earlier in the Spring.

There is another live cam at Baxter's Painted Pasture. The owner is a member of the Board. Here is the link to her thread: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-24182-1.htm They have a horse that is "overdue" that just doesn't seem to be inclined to show us her unborn baby!!

If you haven't seen either of them, you should check them out!!
