:D :D :D Here is a picture of the lone star that I'm working on. I went ot Joanns this a.m. and got the fabrics and stuff to finish it. Tomorrow I will have to set up the big ironing board and give it a good ironing. I don't know why that center star has a little bit of a pucker in it, but maybe it just needs pressing. I hope that is all it is. Some of the lines didn't match up too well, but what the hey. This is the first time I got one put together. Tomorrow I will put a boarder on it too. it is getting so big it's hard to handle. Enjoy, Huggies, Fay

I love this pattern, but don't think I'll ever want to tackle it. You did a great job and can't wait to see it finished....

I think it looks fabulous. Love your colors. If your center doesn't want to 'unpucker' take out 3 or 4 stitches and re-sew, taking in a 1/16" additional on each side or however much you calculate it needs. It should lie completely flat. I worked on one of these stars last year and sometimes they need a little 'adjusting'. Looks great!

WOW, I like this, I would not have the patience, you have done a great job, personally I like that the check/stripe fabric pieces are not all the same because it adds movement and interest, otherwise it is all very symmetrical. Just MHO.
