Congratulations on her blue ribbon. Hope she continues to quilt and enter them. I have volunteered at our fair in the home economics department for years and I always love to see the quilts that everyone has entered.

I want to Thank everyone who posted for your encouragement and your caring words. I am inspired by all of you as I sit here in the mornings with my coffee and look at your pictures and read all of your posts.

Very nice. I don't think I've seen that pattern before. How nice of you to do this for your Mom. It will occupy lots of time for her and make her feel less disconnected .

I am not too wild on house blocks but really like the looks of the ones your mom did. I think it's really neat that you can work with your mom on them.

What a brilliant way to display individual quilt blocks you might want to do, as the sides of the houses.
