Well since getting the two new sewing machines for some reason I've not had a lot of time to play. But today was my day off from work, so I sewed up a storm. Hubby said the sound of the machine was music to his ears! AWwwww....!

Anyway, this is the quilt block that is for the persorn who gave me the machine. It's a log cabin variation, and it's the first time I've tried a log cabin! SOOOOOO fun and SOOOOOO easy! Why have I not done this before??? Anyway, take a look and tell me what you think!

I think it's lovely. Are you doing a whole quilt with those blocks, all the same? I'm curious what you'll be doing. The fabric looks so rich and creamy....

Looks GREAT to me ! I still think you got the better end of the deal, a new machine and a project to practice on the new machine

That is a version of log cabin I have not seen. I like it. You are doing a great job sewing and color coordinating. I will have to try that pattern. Log cabin is such a versatile pattern.
