Default What is more satisfying than finishing a quilt?

I started this about eight months ago, but Old Yeller is finally finished. On Saturday, I took my last stitch, held my breath as I gingerly placed her into the washer on the delicate cycle and a color catcher just in case. I crossed my fingers. When she came out of the dryer, she was positively hugable. It is hard to believe I won't have this quilt to work on in front of the TV.

Here she is on my bed--and with a shot of the corner with the binding.

I am already contemplating the next project. I can't wait to start.

I don't know how I got pictures without cats. They must have been eating. :-)

A very happy color and a great job, well done! I just finished a UFO quilt top over the weekend, and find myself going "what do I do now" as I am in the unique (for me) position of not having a deadline to finish something by...don't know quite how to deal with that one!

The time it took to finish is well worth the result! Gorgeous quilt!
