I just completed quite a few scrappy log cabin blocks....not perfect, but I like the colors together. What should I do next? Should I extend the top and bottom with more blocks and then add a border?
What color border/borders would you suggest? I was thinking a thin red border and then a wider border and then maybe smaller log cabin blocks as another border. I'm not sure how big I want to make this because I think it will be tricky to quilt.
Any advice from people who have done log cabins?

My first attempt at log cabin blocks

A red border would pull out the traditional square color of the quilt and I think it would look great. It's a gorgeous quilt and it goes so well with your wall color!
